Hulu Teases New Original Series Into the Dark and Light as a Feather

I don’t know about you guys, but it’s getting harder and harder for us to keep track of all the horror offerings on the various streaming services out there.  But Hulu wants to make sure we keep them in mind as we approach Halloween season, and today we have teaser trailers from two of their upcoming original series to share:  “Into the Dark,” a year-long anthology from Blumhouse, and “Light as a Feather,” in which an innocent game goes horribly wrong.  Read on for a look at both shows!

“Into the Dark” – Premieres October 5th
Cast members include: Dermot Mulroney, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Aurora Perrineau, Ray Santiago, Chasty Ballesteros, and Dale Dickey

In partnership with Blumhouse Television, “Into the Dark” is a horror event series from prolific, award-winning producer Jason Blum’s independent TV studio. The series includes 12 super-sized episodes, with a new installment released each month inspired by a holiday featuring Blumhouse’s signature genre/thriller spin on the story.

In Episode 1.01, “The Body,” a sophisticated hitman with a cynical view on modern society finds his work made more difficult when he has to transport a body on Halloween night, but everyone is enamored by what they think is his killer costume.

“Light as a Feather” – Premieres October 12th
Cast members include: Liana Liberato, Dylan Sprayberry, Peyton List, Haley Ramm, and Jordan Rodrigues

An innocent game of “Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board” goes wrong when the five teen girls who played start dying off in the exact way that was predicted, forcing the survivors to figure out why they’re being targeted – and whether the evil force hunting them down is one of their own. From Hulu, AwesomenessTV, and Wattpad, all 10 episodes of “Light as a Feather” begin streaming October 12th on Hulu.
