Horror legends Tobe Hooper, Robert Englund, and Stephen King teamed up for 1995’s bone-crunching tale of The Mangler— and today we have word via Scream Factory that the underappreciated cult classic is coming to Blu-ray for the first time this December!
Extras are in progress and will be announced at a later date, but we can confirm today that the release will sport a new interview with Englund! Scream Factory is also aware of the unrated cut of the film, and they are trying to secure a version of it for this release. Additionally, the cover will be reversible and will feature the “sharp red” title treatment art that was commonly seen on VHS back in the day.
You can check out the Blu-ray cover art below along with the film’s original theatrical trailer, and then make sure to let us know what you think in the comments section or on Facebook and/or Twitter!
