New Pet Sematary Trailer and Artwork Aren’t Fooling Around

The rebooted Pet Sematary opens the week of April Fools’ Day, but Paramount Pictures is definitely NOT fooling around when it comes to the film’s new trailer and poster… they are both seriously spooky!  Don’t believe me?  Then read on for the goods!

Just be warned:  They don’t come back the same.

Pet Sematary is directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer (Starry Eyes) from a script by Jeff Buhler based on the novel by Stephen King. It stars Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz, Jeté Laurence, Hugo & Lucas Lavoie, and John Lithgow and is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Steven Schneider, and Mark Vahradian.

The remake hits theaters April 5, 2019.  If you missed seeing the previously released image gallery, trailer, and artwork, click here.

Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife, Rachel (Amy Seimetz), and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.
