It’s pretty rare these days for TV shows to hit the 100 episode milestone, not to mention a whopping 300! But that’s exactly what’s heading our way during “Supernatural’s” currently running 14th(!) season, and said episode is set to feature a returning fan favorite…
Yep, the much beloved Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be reprising his role as papa John Winchester. Per Deadline, Morgan will appear in the episode titled “Lebanon” that will air Thursday, February 7th, at 8 PM on The CW. He previously appeared as the character in a total of 12 episodes beginning with the first season in 2005 through 2008. Currently he’s co-starring in “The Walking Dead” as super villain Negan.
“We’re incredibly excited to have Jeffrey back for this milestone episode and think fans will love what we have planned for his character… and a few other surprise guest stars,” said executive producer Andrew Dabb.
We’re pretty excited to see him back as well; what do you guys think?
“Supernatural’s” mid-season finale, Episode 14.09, “The Spear,” airs TONIGHT! Here’s the synopsis: Sam and Dean enlist the help of their pal Garth to gain inside information on what Michael may be planning. The brothers split up to each go after weapons that can aid in their fight against the Archangel, but this may be a fight our heroes cannot win.
