Watch the Opening Act of NBC’s Mysterious New Series Manifest

We’re not sure how big of a role horror will play in NBC’s upcoming new series “Manifest,” but it definitely seems to have some paranormal/supernatural elements involved in its mysterious storyline, which revolves around the premise of a commercial airline flight that lands 5-1/2 years after it takes off.  Sound up your alley?  Then read on for a sneak peek of the show’s premiere episode!

The one-hour series, which hails from Warner Bros. Television and Compari Entertainment, will debut on September 24th. The talent behind the scenes includes executive producer/writer Jeff Rake (“The Mysteries of Laura”), executive producer/director David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada), and executive producers Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump) and Jack Rapke (Allied, Cast Away.) Cast members include J.R. Ramirez, Josh Dallas, Jack Messina, Melissa Roxburgh, and Luna Blaise.

Synopsis:
When Montego Air Flight 828 landed safely after a turbulent but routine flight, the crew and passengers were relieved. But in the span of those few hours, the world had aged five years – and their friends, families, and colleagues, after mourning their loss, had given up hope and moved on. Now, faced with the impossible, they’re all given a second chance. As their new realities become clear, a deeper mystery unfolds; and some of the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible.
